Stewart Carter, new CEO of dutyof.care

The Board recently accepted Mr Peter Baynard-Smith’s resignation as CEO. Mr Baynard-Smith has had an enormous contribution to building the business’s strong foundations and has encouraged the Board to engage new leadership for the next part of the journey.

The subsequent search to find a replacement has focussed determinedly on recruiting leadership with tenacious drive to bring the platform’s value to the whole Community and Commercial sectors across the country.

It is with pleasure the Board has appointed Mr Stewart Carter, as dutyof.care Chief Executive Officer with effect from June this year.

This unique experience combined with a passion for people, culture and teams provides Stewart with an ability to align strategic opportunity with service delivery, capability and swift execution.

“Stewart is a wonderful addition to the dutyof.care team,” said dutyof.care Chairman, Daniel Muggeridge. “Stewart has skilfully helped reshape other organisations across both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors and we’re excited about what he brings to dutyof.care”.

Accepting his position Stewart said, “Our immediate goal is to build strong and enduring partnerships with industry leaders to accelerate market penetration, adding this state of the art technology to the whole safeguarding framework protecting those that cannot protect themselves”.

As Stewart is welcomed to the team, the Board would like to acknowledge Peter’s leadership and effort in setting a solid foundation over the past 12 months as CEO. Peter will continue with dutyof.care as Director Strategic Partnerships, reinforcing his commitment to the organisation’s important cause. Peter’s dedication will remain an integral part of dutyof.care.
